For The Family is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt agency based in Tampa, Florida, and is registered with the Florida Department of Consumer Services. It has been incorporated since 1998, when our Family Referral Network began mentoring adults by arranging confidential telephone dialogues. Shelter Is Golden has connected hurricane evacuees with compatible hosts since 2005.
